Abstract

the goal of the current study is to know what types of expired medicines affect the environment? What are the effects of disposal of expired medicines on the environment? What are the safe ways to dispose of expired medications? The questionnaire was created electronically via Google Drive, and then 700 questionnaires were distributed via mobile phone on the social networking program (WhatsApp). 680 responses were obtained from (men and women) aged 25-55 years to the researcher’s email. (The target group is residents of the Holy City of Mecca and Taif).
