A Proposed Program for Developing Career Transition Units to facilitate the Transition of Technical Education Students into the Labor Market in Egypt
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to develop a proposed unit for facilitating the transition to the labor market. This unit aims to develop skills relevant to the labor market for graduates of specialized education programs from faculties of specialized education. The importance of this research stems from the necessity of establishing and developing such units within educational institutions and funding bodies, and providing appropriate support for their establishment and development to enhance various aspects of development. The study reveals that the most important factors for the success of the transition to the labor market are consistent training and skills enhancement for students through training courses and educational seminars. It also identifies that the most significant challenge facing students during the transition process is the increasing need for practical application of the skills they acquire.
